Hello,
I’m Natalie and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and have been a physical therapist since 2009.
I have worked in outpatient orthopedics/neurology, and in-home pediatrics for patients 0-3 years old. I currently work in an outpatient clinic working with pediatric and adolescent patients. I also work in an acute care hospital, working with post-operative patients, medical-surgical patients, and post-trauma patients.
I went into PT because I enjoy talking…a lot! I have learned a lot from working/talking with my patients in the above various settings. I wanted to make a blog to learn from other patients and to hear what you have experienced/thought/learned/disliked from your physical therapy experiences.
So…with this first post, I will just ask some general questions:
1- Have you ever gone to physical therapy? or have any of your children been to physical therapy?
2- Did PT help whatever the problem was?
3- Do you feel your PT did a decent job at educating you about your condition and how/why you were being treated in PT?
Leave your answers in the comments’ section.
Thanks for visiting my blog 🙂
